Safety Tip of the Month:

Rules of Thumb for When You’re Assigned PPE:

Inspect it. Every time you use it! If it’s damaged or worn out, do not use it. Replace it or have it repaired, if it is safe to do so.
Ensure a good fit. PPE can’t protect you properly if it doesn't fit you correctly.
Use it consistently. Workplace hazards are always present, so always wear your PPE.
Follow instructions for PPE removal, storage, cleaning and disposal.

Reminder: Contact your staffing supervisor any time your job responsibilities or work environment/conditions change.
